Rules for Roundtable:
Presenters:
- Anyone can speak to the group, as long as it relates to Scouting or activities appropriate to Scouts.
- If you need any special equiPMent, like an overhead projection, please let the Roundtable Commissioner know a week before the meeting.
- Please keep announcements under 5 minutes.
- Bring handouts if possible. The more information presented, the more useful handouts become.
- Any effort in making announcements more fun or humorous is appreciated.
- All announcements should be completed by 7:30 PM
- If your announcement only pertains to part of the group, Cub or Boy Scout leaders, save it until after the split.
Participants:
- The church trusts that we will take care of the building and everything in it. If you bring children to the meeting, please make sure
they do not damage anything and they clean-up any mess they make- A Scout is Trustworthy
- Please pay attention to the presenters- A Scout is courteous.
- Please keep any side conversations to the back of the kitchen or another room. A Scout is kind.
- If asked to “volunteer”, do so in good spirit. A Scout is cheerful.
- You are participants, so participate. A Scout is helpful.
- Get to know and help out your fellow leaders. A Scout is friendly.
- If you have so good ideas, share them with the group. We are here to make the Scouting program as good as we can. A Scout is loyal.
- When the meeting is done, clean up your area. A Scout is Clean.
