Kendall’s celebration of life will be held on his birthday, June 28th, details are below.  Please come and share stories of him and celebrate the life he well lived.  Thank you, Kelly L. Welch, for the beautiful words that I just wasn’t able to come up with on my own.

Kendall Wayne Johnston
JUNE 28, 1972 – JUNE 3, 2019

“He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings, you will find refuge”. Psalm 91:4

Kendall Johnston lived a life that personified Psalm 91:4, for he lived each day in the service to others. Even at the time of his death on June 3rd, 2019, Kendall continued to give of himself. Kendall was a compassionate, courageous and humble person, always there to help a person in need and a true friend to everyone who knew him.

It is no wonder that such a remarkable person choose a career that paralleled his own moral compass, choosing to be a firefighter and then an EMT. Kendall’s care and respect for his brothers and sisters first responders and law enforcement were known to all of those around him.

Kendall’s devotion to others can clearly be seen in his love and devotion to his beautiful wife, Corrina, and their family. As a husband, father, and grandfather, his heart was full of love and love to give.

Kendall is preceded in death by his mother and father, Karla and William Johnston. He is survived by his loving wife, Corrina Johnston; children: Brianna, and Tyler Johnston, Lexy Fleming, and Allen Hilton; brother: Robby Johnston (wife, Margaret); brother-in-law: Michael Fleming (wife, Paula); grandchildren: Emma Grace and Mason James; numerous nieces and nephews; his AdventHealth Central Texas work family and friends.

A celebration of Kendall’s life will be held June 28th, 2019, at the New Covenant Church in Lampasas, Texas from 6- 8 PM. This is a casual gathering and attendees are asked to wear maroon in honor of Kendall’s love of Texas A & M University.
